(This is a photo of the popcorn)My mom gave us this container of colorful popcorn. It is tasty. However, you must limit yourself to approximately 15 pieces, or else you will suffer the fate of overly-sweet popcorn sickness.
I have started using Prismascolor Verithins. I like them more than I thought I would, and they seem to be a little less smudgy for those of us who draw (and drag) with our left hands.

Well done! Oooo...that green one looks like something out of Ghost Busters! And you're right...I do feel a bit of a need for a toothbrush!
These are great! Wild colors and nicely rendered. I was expecting popcorn and thought you'd just gone wild and had fun with colors until I scrolled down and saw the photo. Those would make great abstract designs as well. Nicely done.
How did that popcorn taste?
Beautiful, beautiful drawings. Gosh...and I can only imagine what too much of this popcorn does to your stomach! Eeek.. That is a lot of food coloring!
I like your popcorn drawing! Prismas are nice to draw with and you did a great job with this one. I don't know about actually eating popcorn that comes in all those colors though. . .
I really like your blog. Nice style of drawing.
Wow! Thanks everyone! I am so glad I finally started participating in this group-it is great encouragement to keep working!
Thank you!
Very nice, I like the colors!
Yummy! Coloured, sweet popcorn was my favourite treat as a child. Nicely done ~
I think the Verithins are a great idea. They are had enough to do sharp edges and not smudge too much. One thing you might try is either a wooden bridge to rest you hand on while you are drawing, or a piece of paper. Since I do monoprints with an acrylic plate, sometimes I use that to keep my hand from smudging pencil work.
