I grew these tomatoes in containers, started from seed. It was my first time trying such an experiment. They took forever to reach maturity, and only one of them ever even turned an orange-ish red. Before I could pick them to eat, a crew came out and stained the back decks at our building. All my tomatoes were sprayed, and therefore, inedible. What a bummer, vine ripened tomatoes are So wonderful, you did well almost getting to maturity - AND you got a fabulous sketch from them! There is always next year.
